Voss Engineering were asked to carry out major refurbishments on a food reclaim machine. This work involved cleaning down the machine, removal of 72 off 35mm broken studs from main shaft, manufacture new paddles, retapping shaft and fitting paddles, inspection of bearings and replacement of gland packing.
Carry out various weld repairs to machine base and doors. Fit electirc motor, pulleys and V-bolts, manufacture and fit new safety guards. Shotblast, prime and paint the machine.
